New addition to story? Mission Possible!

Hey,
Had to do a paper on survival for English and I decided to do part of my story because there is a lot of survival in it, and I haven't sent off anything in a LONG  time so I think you all should get something at least. I began to type up my first completed novel recently! The last book in my Silver Storm series, Keeper of Fates (with Dean, Sophie, Rob, Nikita etc.), I will send it off soon as I can (if I don't forget.)
Just a little bit of the story from book one with Tyler Youngblood.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I have changed a little bit, instead of Tyler being the only one who narrates it, it will have three narraters, Tyler Youngblood, demigod son of Zeus, Danny Ellis, Dean Ellis's son who is part fire demon (it's like Zuko in Avatar, he can control fire. It's power he got from his grandpa Apollo, god of the sun.) and Faith Ellis, Danny's twin sister who is a witch (based off friend Sonora). Also Katana is now a minor character, (bad breakup with a friend and she was based off her, so I decided instead of just getting rid of her competely, I just made her a minor character in memory of my friend and I's broken friendship, and Tyler doesn't like Katana anymore too. Just didn't work out. He likes someone else now. Heehee *looks at Sonora*) I have also included new characters. (well, actually, Danny and Faith are new to some of you.) but his name is Aiden Shaw, he is half human, half ghost (based off Danny Phantom, old cartoon from Nick that love, thats where my Danny got his name too.) and Aayla Jade, wood elf of the forest, can't wait to tell you more about her!
So Happy New Year and my thoughts and love go to my aunt Kellie and her family.

p.s. Saw Mission Impossible 4. Amazing! :)

Survival? I know one or two things about it; I've been taught to survive all my life by my parents. My twin sister and I both have unique abilities or powers that if something happens we could survive on our own.

I never thought that we would have to use our survival skills so soon when I was thirteen and we (my sister, my best friend, a half human half ghost kid and I) were sent on a quest to find a kidnapped demigod in Artics, the magic world.

Everything started going wrong when we had a nasty run-in with an ogre.

"Aren't ogres misunderstood creatures?" My best friend Tyler asked as we spotted the ogre stomping around the forest holding a club.

"This isn't Shrek, ogres are mean and love having humans for snacks." I answered.

"Ewww!" my sister, Faith plugged her nose, "and doesn't know what a shower is."

"We need to avoid this guy. Aiden." I turned to Aiden, he was small and the youngest of our group, but he had what we needed.

"I need you to turn ghost and distract the ogre while we make a run for it."

"But Danny…I can barley control my powers…" Aiden said, quietly.

"I know, but when we give the signal, turn invisible and fly away." I explained.

            "But…"

            "Please Aiden?" Faith asked.

            Aiden finally nodded, "alright."

He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, "ghost form."

Suddenly, Aiden's blue jeans and green shirt changed into a black bodysuit, his hazy blue eyes went to a neon green. The only thing that didn't changed was his dark brown hair.

What did dad tell me about ogres? I thought. He must have faced a few when he was a teenager.

My dad, Dean Ells is a demigod son of Apollo; before I was born he was a great hero for the Greek gods and Artics, along with Tyler's stepfather, Rob Youngblood and my mom, Sophie who is a witch.

"Survival tip #1: Ogres are very slow, Danny. You have to get them to charge than suddenly run to another spot; they'll wear themselves out. When they are out of breath, that's when you attack." My dad's voice said in my head.

"My dad said that ogres are very slow, you gotta get him wear out and that's when you can defeat him."

"Defeat him? I thought I just had to distract him." Aiden questioned.

"You still have to, but it's likely the ogre might try to kill you." I answered.

            Aiden gulped, "oh great."

"Just remember what Danny said," Faith said, turning Aiden around and started pushing him.

"Wait," Aiden stopped Faith and turned around,  "before I go out there and do pretty much a suicide attempt, what is the signal?"

"Tyler will make a thunder and lightning storm and destroy the ogre if you don't." I said, "You think Zeus will let you do that?"

Tyler shrugged, "yeah, hopefully my dad's feeling up to it."

"Lightning, got it." Aiden muttered and flew into the sky.

We couched in position, watching Aiden.

"Hey ugly!" Aiden insulted the ogre.

The ogre turned around, he was about 7'2 with pasty yellow skin that reminded me of the Rocky Mountains, he had an ugly under bite and two blood shot red eyes. He had long black greasy hair pulled in a ponytail and the club in his left hand.

"Hey, it looks like Faith in the morning." I teased.

Faith rolled her eyes and punched me in the shoulder, "Shut up."

"Yeah…I'm talking to you, fathead…" Aiden's voice suddenly became shaky.

"GHOST!! I HURT YOU!!" The ogre shouted, running over to Aiden.

Aiden stood up his ground until the ogre's club was a foot again from him, he leap into the sky and flew into a tree.

"NO FAIR!!" The ogre bellowed, shaking the tree.

"Now, guys, now." Faith said, getting up and running across the field, avoiding the chopped tree stumps.

            "Go Tyler," I whispered.

Tyler ran as fast as he could, he's pretty fast for thirteen.

I got up and ran towards Faith and Tyler, watching Aiden from the corner of my eye.

He was clutching the pine tree tightly as the ogre shook the tree, but I could clearly see he was slipping.

"Survival tip #2: Never leave a man behind." My dad's voice said in my mind, he told me that right before I left on the quest.

            I had to help Aiden.

"Hey, leave him alone!"  I exclaimed, taking out my sword, Wizard.

The ogre turned around slowly and sniffed the air, "Danny Ellis, fire demon." He said.

"Yeah, come fight me you big limp noodle."  I answered.

The ogre growled, running towards me, swinging his club, "I WILL KILL YOU AND YOUR FATHER!"

Dad battled this ogre, I thought, waiting for the ogre.

Aiden looked at me with a look of concern and I mouthed the words, Go.

I suddenly did a flip like a Jedi over the ogre and landed on a tree stump.

            The ogre looked around, confused.

            "Hey Shrek." I said.

The ogre turned around, "I EAT YOU!!"

"What about you just let me go?" I asked.

"COME HERE, FIRE DEMON DESCENTDANT OF APOLLO!" He screamed, twirling around.

I sighed, "Fine, we'll have to do this the hard way…"

Before I could react the ogre grabbed wizard out of my hand and threw it. "NOW I WILL DINE!"

"Not quite!" someone's voice called from a distant.

            WHIST!

An arrow stuck the ogre and he fell over onto the ground, than vanished.

I ran and grabbed Wizard quickly. "Are you friend or foe?"

A hooded figure came out of the forest, holding a bow and arrow, "depends, are you friend or foe to the forest?"

"Survival tip #3: I'm a hippie, Danny. You better be nice to the forest or I'll kick your butt. That wasn't my dad this time, it was my mom; she loves the forest.

            "Friend…" I said.

The figure removed the hood; it was a girl about thirteen with orange hair, green eyes and elf ears. "I'm Aayla Jade Hinton, welcome to my father's forest."
