Hopefully...
Not to mention the fact that I have Road in a week and I'm really nervous.
I auctioned for the play, Rapunzel and I don't find out if I have the part I want -Mother Gothel- until Thursday.
I shouldn't worry, my little sister says I nailed it but I'm also worried because i think the teacher plays favorites and she might pick one of the girls who is she's known for awhile.
I have to ambit the girls auctioning for Gothel forgot the words and just stood there. I'm not trying to be snotty or anything, I just hope I get it and I don't have to be chosen over another girl. Sigh...even before I did this Rapunzel auction I have been singing Mother Knows Best over and over, pretending to be Gothel.
Heck, I was her for Halloween!
So I am begging to find out!
Sorry that's what on my mind lately and this stress is getting to me! Why am I such a drama geek?

"Come back someday."
The words of the epic song of Deliver Us from the movie, Prince of Egypt. I have been singing the song lately and in my mind, at this part of the song, I see a young girl singing about her little brother saving her and her friends from Murdoc and I created Aileen. The little brother is Dean, no surprise. I stole Bright-spark from Anna. I just think it's so cool sounding and Bright-spark daughter of Apollo, see? :)
Aileen Ronnie Bright-spark
The nine year old daughter of Apollo and Ronnie Bright-spark.
Her mother gave her away when she was a year to Apollo.
Apollo took Aileen to a couple that lived nearby a family with a son and a daughter.
The eleven year old daughter would babysit Aileen offend and became very close to her.
Though Aileen and the daughter became close, Aileen ran away from her family when she was eight after she found out she was Apollo's daughter.
She finds two other demigods, Andy, the son of Thor and Millie the daughter of Athena.
They wander around the country as a group, battling monsters.
When Aileen returns to her hometown, she comes to find that her beloved babysitter has just given birth to a baby boy, and his father is Apollo.
Aileen decides to stay with her babysitter to help take care of the baby, but one day after going to the park, Aileen disappears.
Murdoc, the evil gargoyle/warlock captures Aileen, Andy and Millie and freezes them in time.
Aileen tells her friends that her baby brother will grow up and save them. She uses dreams to commiunte to her baby brother when he gets older, though his mother never tells Dean of Aileen.
The pictures are Aileen, though she's a bit too young looking. But I picture her like that, only a little bit older.
Dean, agh...Sophie. You lucky girl. Lol.
I just had to put the last picture. I really love that picture, seriously exactly what Dean looks like when he gets older. (yes, I know it's Tom Cruise. I love him I ambit.)

Sophie
Anna was telling me about her past and it made me cry.
I don't want to just explain, I will explain in the words of Sophie herself.
"Maman was a witch. Daddy was a member of the Italian mafia." Sophie answered Britt's question.
"How the heck was your dad was a killer and you're like a chipmunk on crack?" -Rob
"I don't know how me and my brothers came to be." Sophie shrugged.
"Whoa, you have brothers? How did I not know about this?" Dean exclaimed.
"Her secrets are hers to keep!" Dean's mother, Carly added in.
"you didn't know for three reasons. 1, because they live in Romania. That's where I'm from. 2, because they are both older and bigger then you and probably wouln't like you. Overprotective, you know. 3, they're probably dead. I don't know if they got out after I set that fire..." Sophie explained.
"Wow, maybe they did survive. You ever check to look for them? Dean asked.
Sophie added, "I didn't ever go back. If they were alive they would lock me up in the attic again." she shuddered.
Dean nodded, "Ohh, these were mean brothers."
Sophie sighed, "they didn't understand. They thought I was soft in the head. They'd locke in the attic and send food to me through a dumb waiter. I beat the door with my fists until they were bloody. I wasn't a sister or a child. I was a prisoner. One day I found that match.... I knew that meant freedom. I lit the curtains on fire and ran out my window. I broke my arm when I landed. I kept running until I couldn't move anymore. Then I collapsed in the mud and waited to die. That's when Rosemary found me."
Dean's mouth dropped, oh, my, heck Sophie...I would of beat their faces in. I'd never let them do that. I'm so sorry. They didn't devere you. He pulled Sophie into a hug.
Sophie said softly, "that part of my life is over now. And I'm glad they didn't send me to an insanitorium. Those places are worse."
Dean again nodded, "yeah, and if your brothers ever try to come get you, they'll have to answer to me. I'm sorry for hitting a tender spot. Was your mom any better or just as worse?"
"They were all the same." Sophie just said.
Poor Sophie, I thought she was an only child who just had her parents ignored her. I didn't know it was that bad. I'm guessing she ran away around 12, maybe even younger. I'm glad she found her coven and eventually Dean. He seriously treats her like a queen.
I also found out that why Danny didn't get magic powers because the gene is rarely passed to males. Danny is a mama's boy totally, though I bet Sophie doesn't have a good experience with brothers and has three boys and all the girls get magic powers.

P.s. Picture is how I picture Sophie before her hair turns silver, girl is Mia Sara.

Named after legends
My favorite thing of the fifties was James Dean, a favorite actor who died tragically in a car crash after doing three movies but he is a legend.
When I decided I would make a best friend for Rob, I knew what he'd look like but I couldn't figure out a name. But than I remembered James Dean and honored him by naming my character after him. I have seen Rebel Without A Cause and it's one of my favorite movies, it's like The Outsiders, with greasers with leather jackets and cool cars. I think S.E. Hinton probably took some of Rebel and put it in Outsiders, James Dean created the rebel image.
So my character, Dean Ellis was named after him, I wrote in that Carly loved James Dean like I do. Also Dean's father ditched Carly when she was two months pregnant with Dean and so Carly could name himself whatever she wanted. :)
Carly let Leo, her husband name their son, Alexander after his foster brother, Alexander the Great. But Carly named got to do his middle name which she decided Paul, after the famous actor, Paul Newman. An inside joke with the family is Paul Newman plays Doc in Cars and Alex says when he gets old he'll turn into a Hudson Hornet car.
Ginny, their little sister isn't named after anything. Leo and Carly both liked Genevieve but I'm thinking of a middle name for Ginny, the names I come up with don't work.
Well, that's it!
The pictures are of James Dean, Paul Newman and Alexander the Great, the legends they're named after.

New addition to story? Mission Possible!
Survival? I know one or two things about it; I've been taught to survive all my life by my parents. My twin sister and I both have unique abilities or powers that if something happens we could survive on our own.
I never thought that we would have to use our survival skills so soon when I was thirteen and we (my sister, my best friend, a half human half ghost kid and I) were sent on a quest to find a kidnapped demigod in Artics, the magic world.
Everything started going wrong when we had a nasty run-in with an ogre.
"Aren't ogres misunderstood creatures?" My best friend Tyler asked as we spotted the ogre stomping around the forest holding a club.
"This isn't Shrek, ogres are mean and love having humans for snacks." I answered.
"Ewww!" my sister, Faith plugged her nose, "and doesn't know what a shower is."
"We need to avoid this guy. Aiden." I turned to Aiden, he was small and the youngest of our group, but he had what we needed.
"I need you to turn ghost and distract the ogre while we make a run for it."
"But Danny…I can barley control my powers…" Aiden said, quietly.
"I know, but when we give the signal, turn invisible and fly away." I explained.
"But…"
"Please Aiden?" Faith asked.
Aiden finally nodded, "alright."
He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, "ghost form."
Suddenly, Aiden's blue jeans and green shirt changed into a black bodysuit, his hazy blue eyes went to a neon green. The only thing that didn't changed was his dark brown hair.
What did dad tell me about ogres? I thought. He must have faced a few when he was a teenager.
My dad, Dean Ells is a demigod son of Apollo; before I was born he was a great hero for the Greek gods and Artics, along with Tyler's stepfather, Rob Youngblood and my mom, Sophie who is a witch.
"Survival tip #1: Ogres are very slow, Danny. You have to get them to charge than suddenly run to another spot; they'll wear themselves out. When they are out of breath, that's when you attack." My dad's voice said in my head.
"My dad said that ogres are very slow, you gotta get him wear out and that's when you can defeat him."
"Defeat him? I thought I just had to distract him." Aiden questioned.
"You still have to, but it's likely the ogre might try to kill you." I answered.
Aiden gulped, "oh great."
"Just remember what Danny said," Faith said, turning Aiden around and started pushing him.
"Wait," Aiden stopped Faith and turned around, "before I go out there and do pretty much a suicide attempt, what is the signal?"
"Tyler will make a thunder and lightning storm and destroy the ogre if you don't." I said, "You think Zeus will let you do that?"
Tyler shrugged, "yeah, hopefully my dad's feeling up to it."
"Lightning, got it." Aiden muttered and flew into the sky.
We couched in position, watching Aiden.
"Hey ugly!" Aiden insulted the ogre.
The ogre turned around, he was about 7'2 with pasty yellow skin that reminded me of the Rocky Mountains, he had an ugly under bite and two blood shot red eyes. He had long black greasy hair pulled in a ponytail and the club in his left hand.
"Hey, it looks like Faith in the morning." I teased.
Faith rolled her eyes and punched me in the shoulder, "Shut up."
"Yeah…I'm talking to you, fathead…" Aiden's voice suddenly became shaky.
"GHOST!! I HURT YOU!!" The ogre shouted, running over to Aiden.
Aiden stood up his ground until the ogre's club was a foot again from him, he leap into the sky and flew into a tree.
"NO FAIR!!" The ogre bellowed, shaking the tree.
"Now, guys, now." Faith said, getting up and running across the field, avoiding the chopped tree stumps.
"Go Tyler," I whispered.
Tyler ran as fast as he could, he's pretty fast for thirteen.
I got up and ran towards Faith and Tyler, watching Aiden from the corner of my eye.
He was clutching the pine tree tightly as the ogre shook the tree, but I could clearly see he was slipping.
"Survival tip #2: Never leave a man behind." My dad's voice said in my mind, he told me that right before I left on the quest.
I had to help Aiden.
"Hey, leave him alone!" I exclaimed, taking out my sword, Wizard.
The ogre turned around slowly and sniffed the air, "Danny Ellis, fire demon." He said.
"Yeah, come fight me you big limp noodle." I answered.
The ogre growled, running towards me, swinging his club, "I WILL KILL YOU AND YOUR FATHER!"
Dad battled this ogre, I thought, waiting for the ogre.
Aiden looked at me with a look of concern and I mouthed the words, Go.
I suddenly did a flip like a Jedi over the ogre and landed on a tree stump.
The ogre looked around, confused.
"Hey Shrek." I said.
The ogre turned around, "I EAT YOU!!"
"What about you just let me go?" I asked.
"COME HERE, FIRE DEMON DESCENTDANT OF APOLLO!" He screamed, twirling around.
I sighed, "Fine, we'll have to do this the hard way…"
Before I could react the ogre grabbed wizard out of my hand and threw it. "NOW I WILL DINE!"
"Not quite!" someone's voice called from a distant.
WHIST!
An arrow stuck the ogre and he fell over onto the ground, than vanished.
I ran and grabbed Wizard quickly. "Are you friend or foe?"
A hooded figure came out of the forest, holding a bow and arrow, "depends, are you friend or foe to the forest?"
"Survival tip #3: I'm a hippie, Danny. You better be nice to the forest or I'll kick your butt. That wasn't my dad this time, it was my mom; she loves the forest.
"Friend…" I said.
The figure removed the hood; it was a girl about thirteen with orange hair, green eyes and elf ears. "I'm Aayla Jade Hinton, welcome to my father's forest."
